Synopsis
Based on the experiences of Agu, a young soldier in a fictional West African nation's civil war. Agu's journey is followed as he is made to enlist in the military. The war raging across his country has cruelly destroyed his early life, and although he fears his commander and many of the men around him, he is initially divided between contradictory aversion and fascination.
