June's search for answers when her mother vanishes while on vacation in Colombia with her new lover is hampered by international red tape. Although stranded in Los Angeles thousands of miles away, June ingeniously makes use of every piece of cutting-edge technology at her disposal to try to locate her before it's too late. Yet as she looks a little closer, her online research turns up more questions than it does answers. and June learns that she never truly knew her mother at all as she uncovers lies about her.
