Shin Woo-Yeo assists Lee Dam as she tries to take her companion away. A mishap alters their course of events. Lee Dam accidently ingests Shin Woo-Yeo's bead after it accidentally spills out of his mouth.
One year is the maximum amount of time the bead may stay within a human before breaking. Lee Dam will pass away as a result of this, and Shin Woo-Yeo will miss his opportunity to become a human. Lee Dam is informed of their situation by Shin Woo-Yeo, who advises that they cohabitate.
