Synopsis
Russell Gaines fights to put his previous transgressions behind him as he returns home to Mitchell, his stern father, after serving an 11-year sentence in a Mississippi state prison. One fateful night, he encounters Maben, a young mother who has nothing to her name but a stolen gun and the identity of a deceased police officer. In order to escape their predicament and avoid being destroyed by the truths of their connected violent pasts, Russell and Maben must trust one another.
