The seventh Fastlane professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) and livestreaming event will take place in 2023. It will be produced by WWE. For wrestlers from the promotion's Raw and SmackDown brand divisions, it will be held. The event will be the first Fastlane held since 2021 and the first to be held on a Saturday and in October. It will take place at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, on Saturday, October 7, 2023. Additionally, this will be the first WWE PPV and webcast event to take place in Indianapolis since Clash of Champions in September 2016. At that time, the venue's official name was Bankers Life Fieldhouse; in 2021, it changed to Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Originally, the event's name alluded toSince the event will take place six months after WrestleMania 39 in 2023, the moniker of the event that previously referred to its location on the "Road to WrestleMania" has been eliminated.
