Humanity views all alien robots as threats following the Autobot vs. Decepticon battle that levelled Chicago. Thus, CIA agent Harold Attinger creates a team whose only goal is to find them all. However, it appears that another extraterrestrial robot who is looking for Optimus Prime is helping them. After purchasing an antique truck, "robotics expert" Cade Yeager believes it to be a Transformer. He realises it's Optimus Prime when he turns it on. Afterwards, men from the unit arrive in search of Optimus. He assists Yeager and his daughter Tessa in escaping, but the hunter follows them. After they flee, Yeager discovers that a technology magnate thanks to the technology he stole from the men.
