Living in a run-down housing project with his mother, Martin is a mentally disturbed recluse. He is employed as a security guard during the night shift in an underground parking structure that is just as gloomy and unsettling. Martin loses himself in the fantastical world of the cult horror movie in an attempt to escape his depressing life.
